Storytelling at the Clifton Marina & RV Park

October 24, 2020

The Clifton Marina & RV Park is where you will find storytellers!

A spectacular drive from both the Memphis and Nashville airports, Clifton is one of the best-kept secrets in Middle Tennessee. The charming town has quite a past that includes some historically telling tales about the Civil War.

Apparently, Clifton could never really make up its mind when it came to the north and south of things, but went with the Confederates until the end of the war. That rich history is apparent when you talk to some of the locals whose names you will see all over the quaint town of Clifton.

The Clifton Marina & RV Park is where you will find those storytellers, those men, and women who were born in the town of Clifton, some in their 90’s.

The Clifton Marina & RV Park

The Clifton Marina & RV Park is a local and visitor favorite. With its contagious gastro pub atmosphere the newly remodeled eatery serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with daily specials that are sure to please everyone’s palette.

Located in Wayne County on the banks of the mighty Tennessee River you never know what will be on Stacy and Susan’s menu.

Enjoy the Fall Colors on the River

One of the best things about Clifton is the seasons. While each is a delight in this part of the world, fall is especially beautiful with the amazing array of colors that are just too dramatic to describe.

Autumn is nice on the roadways but even more picturesque on the river. If weather permits, which it often does all year round, talk to the Huntingford’s about a river tour. It’s a sight to behold that only happens once each year.

Get Away This Fall

If you are itching to get away and enjoy some great food and the quaint life that only happens in Clifton call and talk to Susan about renting the tiny house or the RV. If you are looking for something more lavish, the Landing at 100 Main could be just what you are looking for, as both are locally owned Huntingford Properties.

The Clifton Marina & RV Park always has something going on rain or shine. Check out the specials and head over for a bite and a chat today, once you get there you’ll never want to leave, regardless of what it looks like outside.

Ah Tennessee in the fall. As far as colors go it is number one on the bucket list for most in both the United States and overseas, but Middle Tennessee has much more going for it than autumn.
